Maintenance requirements for rotary vacuum drum dryer

- Jan 18, 2019-

The rotary vacuum drum dryer is mainly composed of a refrigeration system, a vacuum system, a heating system, and an electrical instrument control system. The main components are drying ovens, condensers, refrigeration units, vacuum pumps, heating/cooling devices, etc. The vacuum system establishes a low pressure condition for the sublimation drying chamber, the heating system provides sublimation latent heat to the material, and the refrigeration system provides the required cooling capacity to the cold trap and the drying chamber.

The rotary vacuum drum dryer has high drying efficiency, and can uniformly heat the materials during drying, and the working conditions are stable, which is beneficial to energy saving. It adopts artificial intelligence control, with high control precision and convenient operation. In actual operation, first start the agitator, add the dried material, and close the feeding port, and simultaneously heat it with steam, and adjust the steam pressure.

In comparison, the rotary vacuum drum dryer is easy to operate, and can recover useful moisture in the material, and has good operating conditions and convenient management. Such dryers are used more in the dye and pharmaceutical industries. For example, drying of a vat dye intermediate, an oxime sulfonic acid, a reduced olive green R, a salicylic acid intermediate, a Kupron polymer, a diamino hydrazine, and the like.
